Alison Walker

Educational Consultant and FOUNDER


Alison is a highly qualified educational consultant and the founder of Hummingbird Learning Group.  She grew up in a small town in Massachusetts and moved out to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California.  She has worked and volunteered in public education for almost 20 years globally in Panama and South Korea and locally throughout the state of California.  She is trilingual in Spanish, Korean, and English.  Alison loves to travel the world and learn about other cultures, cuisines, and educational systems.

Silvia Pinto 

Behavior specialist and educational consultant  

Silvia has been working in the field of special education for 10 years. She holds a moderate/severe California teaching credential and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has served in many roles within the field. She has experience working as a classroom teacher for students with moderate/severe disabilities, a special education coordinator in a school district, and as a behavior specialist in an Autism program in a school district. She has experience working with individuals from 5-22 years of age.  Silvia is very knowledgeable about the field of special education and is a huge advocate for individuals with special needs and their families.
