Alison is the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of Hummingbird Learning Group. She is a passionate & visionary educational leader with over 20 years of experience serving in education.

Currently, she is completing her doctorate in K-12 Educational Leadership at the USC Rossier School of Education. Alison received her Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Languages & Cultures with an emphasis in Korean studies from the University of Southern California. She also holds a Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in teaching from Alliant International University and a Master’s Degree in K-12 Educational Leadership from California State University, Northridge. She became a National Board Certified - Exceptional Needs Specialist Teacher (Birth-22) through Stanford University’s National Board Resource Center, while concurrently clearing her Administrative Services Credential through the University of California, Berkeley, Leadership Support Program.

Alison is passionate about being an advocate for children and families with exceptionalities. She is bilingual Spanish/English and enjoys knitting, deep sea fishing, traveling & cooking.
